Patricia Peat Dip Pall, Dip UTR

 

Patricia worked as a lead oncology nurse for 20years before forming Cancer Options in 2000. Patricia is also the medical advisor for the charity Yes to Life and is an renowned and entertaining international speaker on the research and techniques used worldwide in the treatment of cancer. Patricia remains passionate about encouraging the safe integration of complementary therapies and the best orthodox ones.

Janet Greenway MB, ChB, DA, FFARCS

 

Janet is a retired NHS Anaesthetist who now practices Western Medical Acupuncture and is a member of the British Medical Acupuncture Society which provides training and regulation to doctors providing acupuncture. Janet is registered with the General Medical Council and hopes that her medical background gives reassurance to her clients and those she helps as a volunteer acupuncturist at Star Throwers Cancer Support Centre.

Steven Ho

 

Steven is the General Manager at Star Throwers. After losing his mum to bile duct cancer in 2010 he discovered Star Throwers and became a volunteer. Steven now manages the Star Throwers Cancer Centre in Whymondham, overseeing the centre’s operations on a day-to-day basis including fundraising, marketing, finances, patient’s services etc.

Edwina Green Dip NT CNM, mBANT, mCHNC

 

Edwina trained in Naturopathic Nutrition in London and is passionate about the potential for food to drive wellbeing. Edwina’s aim is to educate and motivate her clients in the benefits of personalised diets and lifestyle. With a particular interest in nutrition and cancer, Edwina is a member of the Star Throwers team where she regularly gives talks on nutrition in a cancer diagnosis and works with clients on a one to one basis.

Annette James MAR MC ThA

 

Annette is an experienced complementary therapist/lecturer, practicing and teaching many therapies. Annette is an official consultant for Neal’s Yard Organics. Alongside her busy practice, Annette volunteers as a therapist at Star Throwers and has a specialist qualification in aromatherapy and cancer care. Annette takes a truly holistic approach to her clients, considering both physical and wider issues that can cause problems, supporting her clients in their quest for wellbeing.

John Rhind MAR

 

John is a very experienced reflexologist, working in an holistic way with his clients within his  practice in Whymondham. Passing on his knowledge by helping in the teaching of reflexology in Norwich. John treats people with a variety of issues but his specialist areas are maternity/fertility reflexology and reflexology lymph drainage. Using reflexology he has helped people living with cancer to bring relief from pain, anxiety, nausea etc. John found that clients having reflexology sessions on the day after chemotherapy can help reduce the time spent suffering from the effects of the treatment
