Indian Head Massage

Indian Head Massage is a great therapy to learn.  As a treatment, it can be given in any place as it doesn't require the client to remove clothing or to lay down.

This makes it a very portable therapy to take into offices and places of work, where clients might have limited time but in need of that upper body stress and tension to be reduced and removed.

It is great for clients that physically find it hard to get on and off a couch.

In our course you will learn a 45 minute routine and how  that can be adapted to suit the individual needs of your clients.  We cover the heritage and time line and how that has lead to the therapy of today, along with how this therapy impacts on the body and the knowledge you need for safe practise. We will study Herings Law of healing that helps understand the healing process of the body.

Very often this therapy is taught over a very short time frame, but that might detract from just how much there is to learn, and considered within the treatment. We have gone for a longer learning experience.

Indian head massage by definition is working on the head and upper body. What happens here can have a very significant impact on our physical, psychological and emotional well being - it takes time to understand and fully appreciate that, and we have built that aspect into our course timings.

Medicine is not only a science; it is also an art. It does not consist of compounding pills and plasters; it deals with the very processes of life, which must be understood before they may be guided.
